How practical is Pakistan-Iran-Turkey railway project?
These days, resumption of Pakistan-Iran-Turkey railway project is heard more than ever.
It says that, after the full launch of this project, trade in most of Central Asian countries will flourish.
With the construction of this railway project, the train will be able to travel six thousand five hundred kilometers from Pakistan to Turkey in eleven days.
While the sea route lasts forty-five days.
Is this project applicable?
We draw your attention to the failed billion-dollar project of Iran’s peace gas pipeline to Pakistan which was failed after several decades due to the excuses and dependence and obedience of Pakistan from the West, by imposing a huge amount on Iran.
Meanwhile, the Balochistan region of Pakistan is not safe for railways project at all.
Because the government of Pakistan has kept Balochistan miserable and poor.
The brutal killing of Shiite miners in Balochistan by ISIS terrorists raises the question of whether Pakistan is still a safe country for regional investments?
While the completion of this seemingly more than seven billion dollar project has not yet come true.
Are Tehran’s political rulers making their second strategic mistake?
Concluding a commercial railway contract with Pakistan who is not honest in his commitment.
But Pakistan has not practically completed any deep economic joint projects under the pretext of Western sanctions against Iran.
This time, what guarantee is there that they will not play game of waste of time, waste of energy with Tehran and will not delay the golden opportunities of Iran’s growth in energy exports to the world with their one-roof policy ?
