Ukraine targets Russian gas pipeline to Germany and France.
Ukraine disrupts the construction of Nord Gas Pipeline Stream 2 with warships and military Aircraft.
These tensions become apparent as the United States makes every effort to weaken China in order to stem China’s growth.
Over the years, Russian gas had reached Europe via Ukraine, which had, had huge economic benefits for Ukraine.
But Russia, in an agreement with Germany, signed a pipeline from the Baltic Sea called the Nord stream Gas Pipeline 2, which was opposed by Ukraine and the United States, as well as Norway and the Netherlands, which are Europe’s largest gas extractors consiquently Norwegian and Dutch gas exports fell by less than half.
Now Ukraine is harassing Russian ships building the Nord Gas Pipeline Stream2, so it remains to be seen what the reciprocal response from Russia will be, as well as the reaction from Germany and France.
It remains to be seen whether Germany, Russia and France will ally with the United States against China to protect the benefits of the Nord Stream 2 project.
